However you first came to know Val Kilmer - as that rascal Madmartigan in Willow, the fearless "Iceman" in Top Gun, the legendary rock star Jim Morrison in The Doors, the gun-toting Doc Holliday in Tombstone, the Caped Crusader in Batman Forever, the cunningly suave Simon Templar in The Saint, the conflicted Virgil in At First Sight, or his latest role as astronaut Robbie Gallagher in Red Planet - we know that Val Kilmer fans have a deep appreciation for his work.   • MASKED AND ANONYMOUS is due for limited release on July 25th. A singer (Dylan), whose career has gone on a downward spiral, is forced to make a comeback to the performance stage for a benefit concert.

  • WONDERLAND is due to be released in New York and Los Angeles on September 26th and in selected cities on October 10th. In WONDERLAND, Val stars as porn legend John Holmes during the Los Angeles' notorious Laurel Canyon Murders. Kate Bosworth, Lisa Kudrow, Christina Applegate, Josh Lucas and Tim Blake Nelson also star.

  • BLIND HORIZON (whose title may be changed to BLACK POINT) is due out in October of 2003. In this movie, Val plays Frank, a man who loses his memory after being shot in small desert town in New Mexico. As he tries to retrace his steps and figure out his true identity, Frank believes he may be part of a plot to assassinate the president. Sam Sheperd and Neve Campbell also star.

  • THE MISSING is currently slated to premiere in New York and Los Angeles on December 10, 2003, in 125 of the top 12-15 market theaters on December 25th, and wide release on January 9, 2004. Set in 19th century New Mexico, THE MISSING (directed by Ron Howard and based on Thomas Edison's novel The Last Ride) stars Tommy Lee Jones and Cate Blanchett as father and daughter who are trying to make amends after he returns from a 30-year absence. Initially unresponsive, she seeks his help when her only child is kidnapped by outlaw Army deserters. Val, in a cameo role, portrays an Army general.

  • SPARTAN is currently slated to premiere on December 12, 2003. Filmed in Massachusetts and Southern California, SPARTAN stars Val as a special operations officer who, along with his protege (Derek Luke), is recruited to find the missing daughter of a high-ranking government official. This political thriller, written and directed by David Mamet, also stars Gene Hackman, Kristen Bell, Alexandra Kerry, Derek Luke, William H. Macy, Johnny Messner, Aaron Stanford and Tia Texada.

  • MINDHUNTERS is due to be released on January 9, 2004. Val portrays Agent Harris is this story of an F.B.I. training mission gone terribly wrong. Set on a remote island, seven cadets commence training exercises for the F.B.I.'s psychological profiling unit that looks into cases involving serial killers. Terror erupts when one of the cadets turns out to be a serial killer and starts taking down the other cadets one by one. The movie also stars Christian Slater, LL Cool J, Patricia Velasquez, Jonny Lee Miller, Kathryn Morris, Clifton Collins, Jr., Will Kemp, and Eion Bailey.

  • The animated adventure DELGO is due to be released in 2004. In DELGO, Val lends his voice as Bogardus, the youngest First Wing Lieutenant in the Nohri Royal Guard. Other voices starring in this magical tale are Jennifer Love Hewitt, Lou Gossette, Jr., Chris Kattan, Michael Clarke Duncan and Eric Idle.

  • Val portrays SDI Skeer in STATESIDE, which was written and directed by Reverge Anselmo and draws on Anselmo's experiences while serving with the Marines in Beirut in 1983. The film follows a rebellious teenager (Jonathan Tucker) on leave from the Marines who falls in love with a female musician. The relationship is threatened when he develops a mental illness. Also starring are Rachael Leigh Cook, Joe Mantegna, Ed Begley Jr., Penny Marshall and Carrie Fisher.

  • Val's publicist has reported that Val has a role in a new movie called GEORGE AND THE DRAGON. Val's appearance will be a small cameo role as El Cabillo, one of the bad guys. The film is an action/adventure romantic comedy also starring Patrick Swayze, Piper Perabo, and Michael Clarke Duncan. So far no USA release date.
